I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy from UWE, Bristol and I am registered with the HCPC and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. I have extensive experience working in the NHS (especially elderly rehabilitation) and have also worked in orthopaedics, in the community and in musculoskeletal outpatients. I have also worked in private musculoskeletal clinics, seeing and treating a wide variety of patients, especially those with low back pain.
Prior to studying physiotherapy, I worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer with the Esporta chain of gyms and hold an Advanced Certificate in Personal Training. I am also qualified in clinical Pilates.
If you want to be fitter and be more mobile but are unsure of where to start or have various medical conditions preventing you, then I can guide you through every step of the way at your own home. With a little imagination, many effective exercises can be done with body weight and simple pieces of equipment such as Therabands and Swiss balls.
